Cawley Studio
& Barbican Centre

Capsule collection made using repurposed fabric that I dyed for a 2021 Barbican Centre exhibition How We Live Now Curated by Edit Collective. I surveyed the plant life on the very empty Barbican estate in the second lockdown in late November 2020. The colour palette of these fabrics is made up of dyes I extracted from three plants found on site: willow, ivy and birch.

I worked with Cawley Studio to ideate garments related to foraging and dyeing: an apron, a chore jacket and utility vest. Designed and made in London by Cawley Studio and available to buy at the Barbican Centre.
