Grymsdyke Garden

Grymsdyke Farm is a research facility, experimental fabrication workshop, and live-work space located in the village of Lacey Green in rural Buckinghamshire, UK. Established in 2004 by Guan Lee, it has been hosting workshops, seminars and residencies with the aim of exploring the essential connections between materials, processes of design, and place.

The original use for this Victorian walled garden would be as a kitchen garden. Left unused for many years, in 2019 I applied my research on botanically derived pigments and dyes and replanted the garden as a colour and material garden as a living resource and material library for the farm.
